On the lower widget there is a new tune - Webern 142 so called because there is some line from Webern op14 in it. The new Tumblr blog is on this URL and it has several new pieces posted in the last couple of days.

Loquat put round a cover of 2000 miles and I looked at some of their Youtube videos which show them to be a great live band. So I bought the remaining tracks from their first album Its Yours to Keep on itunes. Kylie the lead singer posted on fb to say she is expecting a 2nd child.

I was listening to Kenny Kirklands only album and I came across Wayne Shorter's tune Ana Maria. I bought the album from 1974 with Milton Nascimento where it first appeared. It is one of those great latin influenced early 70s albums like Return to Forever. Wayne Shorter didnt issue a solo album again until the mid 1980s. By this time Young Turks like KK were taking WS's innovations further.

I downloaded the lead sheet to AM and have started working on a solo gtr version.

The M R James TV programs were good.
