I have changed the configuration for recording the guitar now that I have an extra jack lead. I am plugging the FX box into my old 20 watt Roland which is coming up for its 40th birthday. Then I am recording the Roland on the Zoom rather than using DI. The sound seems to be OK and I have recorded a lot of tracks in the last couple of days.
Tonight I went to the National Theatre to see Othello. The staging was magnificent. We were too far away to see the acting in detail but the reviews are good. The modern military setting works brilliantly and Kinnear's interpretation of Iago is very plausible. The result is that the play is extremely nasty. Steph saw this production relayed to a cinema.
Paul called from Paris to say the jazz band is playing at the Pointer in Brill this weekend.
