I went to the launch of Now for the Long Term yesterday morning at One Great George Street. This was a report on what might make it possible to get more long term thinking in decision making globally. The report is wide ranging and might provide some material for future articles. The lunch was good and I spoke to someone who had just joined DECC.
Next stop was the Nat Gal for the exhibition of portraiture in Vienna circa 1900. There were some great pieces by Schiele and Klimt - also works by Schoenberg and Gerstl who had an affair with Mrs S before comiting suicide.
Today I made m first visit to Song in the City in Bishopsgate - an excellent programme of songs about birds.
