On the lower widget there is a new tune - Vigorous Miser 1st Loop.

Yesterday I took the high speed train from St Pancras to Ashford International where I met Paul B to drive to Lyminge where they are staying with Sedge. We drove to Sandwich for a lunch of sandwiches in the town square. S is a pretty impressive place - a lot of old buildings of different ages and a shoreline/channel full of boats.

From there we went to Richborough fort - not far from Sandwich. It is one terminus of Watling St. The walls of the fort are very tall in places. In Roman times the sea reached the cliff at the east end of the fort.

Cathy B was singing at the Proms last night with the BBC Singers. We switched on a bit late and just caught the end of the 2nd Stravinsky chorale. We thought we could hear CB very clearly. The 2nd half of the concert started with a world premiere of a K Seitters piece about the Language of Loss. To me it sounded quite close to some minimalist drone works. The BBC Singers had wordless parts. It worked quite well but didnt sound easy to perform.

I caught the 10.42 from Ashford and was back home in under 2 hrs.
