On the lower widget they are Double Arch Stratosphere and Smashung Carp.Gilbert and I have been working on a lot of new material. I enjoyed the Masters programme about Spandau Ballet. I have been spending a lot of time promoting the articles but it seems to have gone quite well so far. I went to Song in the City yesterday lunchtime. It was about Nadia Boulanger - teacher of Philip Glass and many more. The recital was devised by J Snyder who played the piano very well indeed. It started with Megan singing a series of NB settings - rather post-Debussy on the piano which is fine by me. Then some sopranos and a baritone sung songs by her pupils including Bernstein. The others were much less well known - Bowles, Blitzstein, Garnett Thompson and Woods Duke. This is very interesting music. Then off to Wimbledon New Theatre for Barry Steele's tribute to Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, J Cash and J L Lewis. Massively entertaining.
